Kenny Ortega Set to Direct 'Dirty Dancing' REMAKE

Kenny Ortega, who choreographed the original 1987 flick with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, will direct the remake film for Lionsgate.

Ortega is already known for many other projects such as the three "High School Musical" movies and Michael Jackson's "This Is It" concert film.

Mr. Ortega was originally supposed to direct the "Footloose" remake -- but dropped out of the project.
